One of the best holiday traditions is around the corner! The World Juniors are an event that hockey fans all over the globe have circled on the calendar. The best players under 20 go head to head for world hockey supremacy. The interesting dialogues that occur around the World Juniors year after year is which NHL players who are eligible to play in the Worlds will be loaned to their nation for the tournament.

It is a little early for the chatter around which players will be loaned but it should start heating up shortly and although there has not been any official word or rumor for that matter, do not be surprised if Nolan Patrick becomes loaned to Team Canada from the Philadelphia Flyers. Patrick who has been battling a few injuries this season has played in 14 games for the flyers and only has 5 points. Being loaned at the World Juniors could be a good call and good for Patrick's development as he could have a dominant tournament and could elevate his confidence and his game. What do you think?
