Sidney Crosby goes viral after hitting $1 million shot on Pat McAfree show

Ultra popular sports commentator Pat McAfee sold out Pittsburgh's PPG Paints Arena last night for a star-studded variety show that featured a few of Pittsburgh's most popular athletes.

Pittsburgh Pirates phenom Paul Skenes was there, as was former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Rothlisberger, but the biggest cheers from the crowd were reserved for Pittsburgh Penguins stars Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang. In particular, the crod went crazy for Sid the Kid.

Part of the appeal of the evening was a promise from McAfee for an up to $4 million giveaway contest during the show, if his guests could complete some difficult challenges. If these athletes could throw a football through a ring, $1 million would be added to the put. Skenes, one of the most talented pitchers on earth, failed twice in a row but that didn't affect Sid the Kid. Crosby stepped up and nailed the pass.
