Sidney Crosby looked to be in serious pain after taking a big hit from Radko Gudas during the second period of Team Canada’s quarterfinal game. The Canadian captain limped off the ice and back to the bench after a second collision along the boards where he seemed to be sandwiched by Gudas and Martin Necas.

Crosby’s left leg appeared to buckle underneath him after the impact, forcing him to take one tentative stride before heading to the bench. He remained seated there while medical staff examined him.

He was then seen shuffling away from the bench and made his way to the team's dressing room with 13:55 remaining in the second period.

Czechia led Canada 2-1 when Crosby got hurt.

The hit comes at a crucial point in the game, leaving Team Canada playing nervously without their leader on the bench. Gudas delivered a hard, physical play that left Crosby unable to put weight on his leg, sparking immediate concern from teammates, coaches, and fans.

No official word yet on the extent of Crosby’s injury, but the moment has sent ripples through the arena as Canada hopes their captain will be able to return to action.
