So dangerous too! Wow! What’s up with Sid!?
HockeyFeed
Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby started the 2022-23 season with a bang, and that’s an understatement.
The star player kicked things off by scoring his 518th career goal 1:22 into the first period, but that’s not the only target he hit in the Penguins’ 6-2 win over the Arizona Coyotes.
Footage started trending of Crosby brutally attacking defenseman Troy Stecher with his stick during the third period. We can tell that the blue liner is attempting to prevent Crosby from getting to the puck, however, Sid’s reaction is uncalled for.
In the video here below, you can see how Crosby not only shove Stecher right in the face, but then uses his stick as a chop axe to attack his legs.
So dirty, and so freaking dangerous!
Crosby was called for slashing Stecher and sent to the penalty box, however, many fans believe any other players would get suspended for the dangerous move.
