Sidney Crosby is punished by the NHL.

The NHL is apparently very serious about the All-Star Game, and if you are not officially injured it will cost you. Sidney Crosby has been battling lower-back pain for the last few weeks and recieved an injection to help cope with it. He was unable to play in the All-Star Game as a result. Unfortunately for the Penguins, it will be Crosby and the team that will be further penalized. According to NHL rules, if you miss the ASG without an OFFICIAL injury, you forfeit the right to play in your team's first game after. The Pens' are already plagued with injury and the last thing they need is for Crosby to be punished because of this. What a dumb rule, honestly.
