Sidney Crosby's the target of a new hate movement!

The Stanley Cup final has been the stage of a lot of drama so far. Of course, by now you've heard about the Crosby/Subban saga and how it unfolded into the infamous Listerinegate and more. Now, a new chapter has been written, but this time it comes from the grandstand! 

Yep, you read that one right. A fan actually launched a petition to have Sidney Crosby removed for the remainder of the series. As of tonight, more than 1,000 signatures had been registered, which is not a small amount. However, very little will come out of it. If Crosby had to be suspended, it would have been done a long time ago. On top of that, the NHL will most probably never yield to such demands coming from a very partisan base. 

All in all though, it shows how low Crosby's reputation has come. Once the poster child of the league, he's now under pressure by fans to quit the game! Oh, the drama.
