The Pittsburgh Penguins dropped a third consecutive game in their first round playoff series against the Philadelphia Flyers and now have their backs up against the wall.
Desperate times call for desperate measures and boy, oh boy, did Penguins captain Sidney Crosby sure look desperate last night. In what can only be described as a pathetic attempt to get his team a powerplay, Crosby was called for an embarrassing dive after getting accidentally clipped by Flyers forward Garnet Hathaway.

After the game Crosby neglected to take any blame for his embellishment call and even sort of called out the referees for making the call in the first place.
"I don't know how I end up with embellishment... it's hard to understand, but you've got to play through that."
