Flyers sign young center
The Philadelphia Flyers have extended C Sean Couturier to a multi year deal. The contrat will be effective at the beginning of the 2016-2017 season, as reported by the Flyers. Couturier will receive an annual salary of $4.33M over the next six years. Next season, he will undress old contract paying him $2M for the campaign.
Couturier was the Flyers first round pick in 2011, 8th overall.
Over the course of his young career, Couturier has appeared in 287 games producing 118 points.
Sean Couturier will be able to continue is development. A young enter with offensive upsides, it is his play without the puck that has strengthen his value for the Flyers' organization. Couturier will surely upgrade his production from last year, his best one yet, offensively speaking. Look for a production around 45 to 50 points in his case, with a plus-minus rating well in the positive.
