A viral video is raising questions about trouble in the Golden Knights locker room.
The Vegas Golden Knights had some truly surprising struggles this season, struggles that eventually led to the shocking firing of now former Golden Knights head coach Bruce Cassidy.
The move stunned onlookers but it is hard to argue with the results that it has produced, with newly appointed head coach John Tortorella currently boasting a record of 3-0 since taking over behind the bench of the Golden Knights.
While the coaching change does appear to have been a positive for the team, at least thus far, on Saturday night there were some who noticed what they believe are even more signs of dysfunction in the Golden Knights locker room.
As the Golden Knights were heading off the ice during their game with the Edmonton Oilers, many fans took notice of the fact that Golden Knights goaltender Adin Hill was being snubbed by many of his teammates. As Hill held out his hand to fist bump his fellow Golden Knights, many of them appeared to flat out ignore him as they walked by.
Here is a look at the video:
There's no question that Hill has been a letdown for the Godlen Knights this season with a 3.06 goals against average and as .868 save percentage over 26 games, but even under those circumstances this comes off as harsh treatment for a long time teammate. That becomes even more true when you recall that Hill played a big role in backstopping the Golden Knights to their first Stanley Cup championship in 2023.
Was Hill deliberately snubbed? Or are fans making a big deal out of something minor? Let me know your thoughts on this one in the comments.
