Signs point towards a new top jersey seller in the NHL.

The Blackhawks have been the top sellers for a while.

The National Hockey League may have a new jersey selling king.

While the official NHL shop stil lists two of Chicago's superstar forwards as the top sellers, with Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane holding the number one and number two spots respectively, that may not last for much longer.

According to a report from ESPN's Darren Rovell, Fanatics is now reporting that the best selling jersey this season has been that of Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews, this despite the fact that his jersey only went on sale this past Thursday.

The Leafs scrambled to make 700 more jerseys after the four goal performance from Matthews' in his debut, and according to Sportsnet insider Chris Johnston, most if not all of those may have already been sold.

Now this is not an official report from the NHL on jersey sales, but considering that Fanatic is the clothing partner for their official shop, a report from them should be considered as legit as it gets.
