DETAILS INSIDE
Simon Gagne certainly stole the show many times as a player, but on a night where he was to be honored, it was his son that stole it.
Prior to Tuesday's matchup between the Philadelphia Flyers and Los Angeles Kings, the former Flyers fan-favorite was honored for his illustrious career. The 35-year old was joined by his son and daughter for the puck drop.
Although it was Gagne's night, his son did his best to fire up the Flyers' crowd much to their delight.
Gagne played 691 of his 822 NHL games with the Flyers, but won the only Stanley Cup of his career with the Kings in 2012. Gagne also won Olympic Gold with the Canadian team at the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City.
He truly is his father's son.
