Smith gets pummeled by Tom Wilson, just a month after suffering a skull fracture

HockeyFeed
Carolina Hurricanes defender Brendan Smith is probably reconsidering his decision to drop the gloves with Washington Capitals tough guy Tom Wilson this evening.
Smith got absolutely manhandled by Wilson in a lopsided game that was far out of reach for Wilson and the Capitals. Add to the fact that Smith suffered a skull fracture after blocking a shot with his head last month and Smith's decision is even more confusing. I'm guessing Smith still hasn't recovered from his head injury... there's no way anyone in their right mind decides to fight in that situation. Here's hoping he doesn't aggravate his previous injury.
