Soon to be father rushes back to Philly for the birth of his child!

A member of the Flyers has been forced to rush back to Philly and for good reason. With the team currently on a West Coast road trip, Matt Read has left the Flyers to go back home to be with his wife who is currently expecting the birth of their child. It's likely a very crazy time in the Read household and while losing him on the ice is certainly a hit to the team, every fan in the world can understand that some things in life are just more important then hockey. We wish Matt and Erin all the best as they await the birth of their child.
