Special guest shares captaincy with Quinn Hughes

The Vancouver Canucks are having a dream season, among the best teams in the Western Conference and primed to return to the postseason under the guidance of head coach Rick Tocchet. 

Captain Quinn Hughes, who is also a prime candidate to win the Norris Trophy as the National Hockey League's best defenseman, is reportedly going to be named a captain for the upcoming NHL All-Star game in Toronto that will take place early next month at Scotiabank Arena. 

And according to reports, he'll be joined by a special celebrity captain in the form of another Canadian musical icon by the name of Michael Buble.

A British Canadian native, Buble is a noted hockey fan who boasts a homemade rink at his home, and even once cancelled a concert in 2011 during the Vancouver Canucks' run to the Stanley Cup Final. 

Buble won't be the only high profile Canadian musician on hand for the event, as Ontario native and pop superstar Justin Bieber will also be a celebrity captain.
