St. Louis Blues make an epic entrance at the Winter Classic.
These guys are out of control.
The Winter Classic is now only minutes away and things are already heating up, or perhaps getting really, really cold would be a better way to describe it in this case.
The St. Louis Blues have to know that they will be playing in front of a hostile crowd at Target Field when they take on the Minnesota Wild on Saturday night, but they may have won the respect of quite a few fans in Minnesota when they made an epic entrance to the National Hockey League's biggest outdoor event of the year.
The Blues arrived to the venue by bus on Saturday and although you would have expected the players to be bundled up given the cold temperatures in Minnesota today, local weather stations are reporting temperatures of -10 fahrenheit and -23 celsius, the Blues did the exact opposite.
At first you might have been fooled into believing that it was merely a single player having a good laugh, but as more and more blues poured out of the team bus with more and more elaborate get ups it became clear that they had planned this out. Each member of the Blues was wearing clothing that you would expect to see on someone heading to the beach, with some even carrying accessories like towels and coolers for their drinks.
In this first video from the boys over at Spittin Chiclets, you can see them unloading off the bus and you can even hear audio of a few players clearly feeling the cold as they step out into the freezing Minnesota air in their beach clothes.
Thankfully we got even more footage of these maniacs entering the Winter Classic in style, and this one comes to us courtesy of the St. Louis Blues themselves. In this video we get a much wider shot of the players walking past the camera and as a result we can see more of their outfits, which in many cases showed us that these guys went all out even wearing sandals to complete their outrageous outfits.
