Despite being a very talented forward with the physical game to add to his offensive skills, Evander Kane may once again find himself as trade bait, and for the second time in as many seasons no less.
While he may be relatively safe right now, TSN's Matthew Sekeres has reported that should the Sabres manage to land college free agent Jimmy Vesey, the likelihood of Kane finding himself dealt out of Buffalo would increase significantly.
This rumor comes as little surprise given Kane's recent legal troubles as well as the open and vocal displeasure from general manager Tim Murray in regards to the young man he made a big trade for. It's unclear where the Sabres are at right now on the possibility of moving Kane, but The Hockey News believes the following 5 cities are potential landing spots should he be traded.
Vancouver Canucks
Anaheim Ducks
Arizona Coyotes
Carolina Hurricanes
Las Vegas ?????
