Star forward “player most likely to be traded this summer.”

While the rumors around star forward Matt Duchene of the Colorado Avalanche had died down a little following the trade deadline, they have comeback in a major way.

During Friday Night's segment of Insider Trading, TSN insider Bob McKenzie dropped some huge news revealing that the Duchene trade was still very much the plan for Colorado Avalanche general manager Joe Sakic.

"I would vote him as the player most likely to be traded this summer."

It sounds like the big time trade rumors that surrounded Duchene prior to the trade deadline may have had an impact on how Duchene himself views the situation, McKenzie believes that the player himself now wants out of Colorado.

"I would suspect that also from Matt Duchene's perspective his time in Colorado would be up... this is one where I believe that both the team and the player are looking for a fresh start."

This could be the biggest trade since P.K. Subban for Shea Weber.
