Stars and Flyers hook up on a one for one trade

The Dallas Stars and Philadelphia Flyers have hooked up on a one for one trade, swapping defenseman Christian Kyrou from Dallas in exchange for forward Samu Tuomaala.

Kyrou heads to Philadelphia, while Tuomaala heads to Dallas.

Kyrou is the younger brother of St. Louis Blues star Jordan Kyrou and is expected to report to the Flyers' AHL affiliate Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The 22 year old defender has put up 12 goals and 38 points in 93 games with the AHL's Texas Stars over the past two seasons.

As for Tuomaala, the 22 year old forward put up 11 goals and 32 points in 46 games with the Phantoms last season.
