Ottawa Senators' defenseman Erik Karlsson gets all the spotlight in Ottawa, but Mark Borowiecki is delivering an NHL leading performance of his own over the past three seasons.

The stay-at-home blueliner probably gave opposing players plenty of reasons to hate seeing him out on the ice as he's dolled out an NHL-leading 868 hits over the last three seasons.

That's more than 100 hits ahead of Roman Polak's 760, and Luke Schenn's 714 over the same period.

The 28-year-old Borowiecki has played all of his seven NHL seasons with the Senators, his 364 hits across 70 games last season marked a career-high. There isn't a whole lot else to his game, so he probably won't be going for much in fantasy leagues, but that doesn't mean he's not incredibly valuable to the Senators.
