Stellar Performance Inches Prospect Closer

Anthony Mantha is showing that he’s got what it takes to make the permanent jump to the NHL. The Detroit Red Wings’ 22-year-old prospect and 20th overall selection at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft is crashing the net as often as he can to cash in on loose pucks. That served him well last night against the Chicago Blackhawks, as he scored a goal while being parked in front of the goalie's crease.
