Steve Yzerman hints at Trade Deadline plans

The Detroit Red Wings continue to roll, having won their 6th straight game last night with an 8-3 offensive onslaught against the Washington Capitals. At the same time, the Tampa Bay Lightning dropped their game in regulation, enabling Detroit to further solidify their hold on the 1st Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference.
Meanwhile, the National Hockey League Trade Deadline is quickly approaching, now just over one week away (March 8). Fans of the Red Wings continue to wait and see what general manager Steve Yzerman will (or won't) do in the days leading up to March 8.
And while Yzerman almost never shows his cards, he did speak briefly about the upcoming Deadline.
“We’ve got some work to do in some areas, but it’s very encouraging,” the general manager told The Associated Press. “We’re getting stronger as the season goes on.”
“We’ve got a pretty balanced attack with offensive contributions from all four lines and defense,” continued.
The Red Wings have been linked to the likes of defensive figures like Noah Hanifin and Chris Tanev of the Calgary Flames, while they've also been suggested as a possible landing spot for Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jake Guenzel; all three players are expected to be wearing new sweaters post Deadline.
The Red Wings are only a pair of points behind the Toronto Maple Leafs for 3rd spot in the Atlantic Division, and three up on the Lightning for the 1st Wild Card spot. What do you anticipate the Red Wings to do at the Deadline, or could they stand pat?
