Stone receives a proper Vegas welcome complete with Showgirls and a drum line

In case you missed it, the Vegas Golden Knights pulled off a blockbuster deal prior to yesterday’s NHL trade deadline, picking up star forward Mark Stone from the Ottawa Senators. 

The Sens pick up Oscar Lindberg, prospect Erik Brannstrom and a 2020 second round pick in exchange for Stone. 

Stone is expected to make his Golden Knights debut this evening against the Dallas Stars after arriving in Vegas late last night to a proper Las Vegas welcome.

No word yet on what Eugene Melnyk put together for Lindberg’s and Brannstrom’s arrival in Ottawa but, we’re willing to guess it wasn’t quite as elaborate.
