Brad Marchand extended his impossible scoring surge in record time Sunday afternoon.
The Boston Bruins' breakout scorer managed to score the fastest goal in the 91-year history of the franchise, scoring eight seconds into the team's early matchup with the Detroit Red Wings.
Marchand's goal was a his 13th in 13 games and has now scored in seven straight appearances. His 28th goal of the season matches a career high, and has him on pace to clear the 40-goal plateau.
