Brian Elliott is having a rough go of things this season, and his bad luck continued last night.

During Saturday's matchup between the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks, the struggling Flames' goaltender allowed the game's first goal, and he probably wants it back.

Canucks' defenseman Alexander Edler took a seemingly harmless shot from center ice, only to have it change directions and find the twine. Elliott misplays the puck, which dropped like a change-up in a baseball game.

The Canucks failed to record a shot on goal all game before Edler's long-distance goal that came nearly 13 minutes into the opening period.

Elliott entered Saturday's game sporting a meagre .898 save percentage, and this probably didn't do any good for his confidence.
