Subban makes a big announcement for his fans in Montreal.

The Montreal Canadiens traded their star defensemen this summer and it left a great many questions in the wake of his departure, foremost on the minds of many was his commitment to the Children's Hospital in Montreal. Subban undoubtedly heard those concerns and made a major announcement this week to alleviate all of them.

Subban re-affirmed his commitment to the Montreal Children's Hospital and in fact was in town over the week-end to participate in yet another major fundraiser for the hospital, all of this despite the fact that he has been dealt thousands of miles away. It's hard not to appreciate an athlete like Subban who sets an example, and high bar to live up, for all other North American professional athletes to live up to
