Subban: On A Black List

One NHL legend and Hockey Hall of Famer believes a recent Team Canada snub has nothing to do with skill.

 

Guy Lafleur recently told TVA Sports that he’s not surprised that Subban wasn’t selected to be a part of Team Canada because the defenseman has been placed on a “black list” of sorts.

 

Lafleur is convinced that Subban is sitting out yet another international tournament because of his attitude problems, and not due to a matter of how much raw talent or skill he has compared to the rest of the roster. The Montreal Canadiens legend added that management for international teams is clique-based, which could also justify in part why Subban was left out after Duncan Keith opted out due to an injury.
