Subban tries to stir up trouble with Marchand online!

I guess he’s getting bored during the shutdown…

Several NHL players are using social media to keep entertained during the NHL shutdown. The NHL was brought to a halt two months ago on March 12 due to the COVID-19 global pandemic and it’s starting to look like New Jersey Devils defenseman P.K. Subban is getting bored.

A few days ago, the eccentric blue liner decided to poke fun at Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand.

We get that years ago when Subban was a member of the Montreal Canadiens, there was a strong rivalry between the two players. However, ever since Subban moved to Nashville and now the Devils, the rivalry isn’t the same…

And so maybe Subban was simply trying to revive it when he posted a picture of Marchand and him fighting years ago. He added the comment: “2 heavyweight’s back in the day… Even signed it for you” to stir up some trouble.

We can say that it did not work at all for Subban: Marchand hasn’t even granted him a response since he posted.

Rivalry: dead.
