Switzerland's bizarre pre-game ritual caught on camera.

Huh?

When you're playing hockey I'm sure it can be easy to forget that you're at work or, even worse, representing your home country on the international stage, and for high end players it can be important to remember that the cameras can always be rolling.

This week during the International Ice Hockey Federation's World Championship tournament, two players from the Swiss national team were caught on camera engaging in something of a bizarre pre-game ritual that has created more than a few laughs among hockey fans on social media. Swiss players Marco Miranda and Andrea Glauser, neither of whom will be familiar to North American fans as both have spent their entire careers playing in the Swiss League, were seen having something of a pre-game hump before facing off against the United States of America for a game on Thursday.

While I'm sure the little ritual was perfectly normal behavior between two friends that have been playing together for some time, out of context it is also easy to see why it has caused so much of a reaction from fans.

The worst part though for the Swiss duo is that their pre-game ritual appears not to have granted them the good fortune that they were hoping to find. As we now know they would eventually fall to the Americans by a score of 3 - 0 at the Helsinki Ice Hall in Finland.
