Brian Burke really doesn't want the Oilers to win tonight's NHL Draft Lottery.

The Calgary Flames' President didn't mince words when asked by Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, how he would react if his Alberta rivals were to be awarded the first overall pick the fifth time in seven years.

Burke responded by saying, "This is a family show, beat the snot out of anybody."

According to Andrew Walker of FAN 590, Burke went on to say that it would be a "travesty" if the Boston Bruins won the lottery. The Bruins recorded the most points among non-playoff teams for the second consecutive year in 2015.

Burke is an open critic of the current lottery system and the reality is the Oilers have a decent chance of winning tonight's lottery. The Oilers have a 13.5% chance of landing the first overall pick, second only to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

As it stands, the Flames have an 8.5 percent chance at the first overall pick in June, and a 26.3 percent chance at a pick in the top three. The Flames have never selected higher than fourth overall. You get the sense that Burke believes it's the Flames turn at winning the lottery, and is vehement against the Oilers winning again.

If the Oilers are awarded the first overall pick again, Burke is going to be a scary guy to be around.
