Team that said they would make no trades, makes a trade.

This is a very strange situation, after sending out an email prematurely stating that they had decided to stand pat and make no trades, the Boston Bruins appear to have in fact made a trade.

According to a report from hockey insider Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports, the Carolina Hurricanes have traded defenseman John-Micheal Liles to the Boston Bruins, in exchange the Bruins will give up third-round pick, a fifth-round pick and prospect Anthony Camara

Again it's a strange scenario after the Bruins sent out an earlier e-mail to the media alerting them that general manager Don Sweeney had made the decision not to make any moves.
