Congrats, Stammer! Truly one of the most underrated players of his generation!

Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos is officially just the 95th player in NHL history to score 1,000 career points.
Stamkos potted his 1,000th career point on an assist this evening against the Philadelphia Flyers in Philly. His teammates piled out onto the ice to celebrate the moment.
Check it out:
The coolest thing to me is that Stamkos reached this milestone playing with just one franchise the entire time. As much as I love other legendary 1,000 point men like Brett Hull, Jaromir Jagr, Teemu Selanne, Ron Francis, Mark Recchi and Adam Oates, there's just something special about the guys who put up numbers with the same team their entire career. Guys like Joe Sakic, Steve Yzerman, Mario Lemieux, Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin just hit a little differently.
Congrats, Stammer!
