An incredible video has gone viral on social media, a video that showcases a very young hockey player with absolutely no fear and a great deal of righteous anger on his side.

The video which was published on social media by Toronto Crime Watch, shows a 17 year old hockey player from Whitby, Ontario bravely charging at a pair of car thieves that were reportedly in the process of trying to steal his father's truck. In the video we can see the young man raise the stick high above his head like a club before he charges towards the two men and begins swinging the stick violently in their direction.

One of the thieves, the one outside of the getaway vehicle, appears to attempt to put up a fight but it doesn't go his way. Judging by the video, the young hockey player and his stick were the ones doing all of the damage before he generously allowed the thief to scuttle back into the getaway vehicle before running away.

Here is a look at the video

Of course the young man in the video could not possibly have known whether or not the thieves were armed, making his decision to charge them with nothing but a hockey stick a very brave one indeed. He also did so without being bundled up for the very cold-looking weather outside, but that comes as no surprise from a young Canadian hockey player.

Judging by the timestamp on the video this occurred just last month, in December of 2025, and I can only hope that the thieves in question will be apprehended and punished for their actions.
