This just in, Carolina Hurrianes head coach Rod Brind'Amour told the media today that injured forward Teuvo Teravainen will play tonight in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Florida Panthers.
Teravainen hasn't played in nearly a month thanks to a broken hand that he suffered in the Hurricanes' opening round playoff series against the New York Islanders.
Hurricanes insider Walt Ruff reports this morning that based on this morning's line rushes in the team's gameday skate that Teravainen will be playing alongside Jordan Stall and Martin Necas. This effectively bumps 23 year old forward Jack Drury back down to his usual role on the team's 4th lline.
