The Calgary Flames will get a key contributor back on the blueline tomorrow.
The team expects to have defenseman Kris Russell back in the lineup on Tuesday against the Anaheim Ducks.
Russell played only six minutes Friday against the Chicago Blackhawks after suffering an upper-body injury in the first period. He appeared to injure is hand while blocking a shot. He left the game and did not return.
Russell's averaging over 23 minutes a night, so he's a key contributor on Calgary's defense. The 28-year-old has a goal and three assists in 21 games this year. He set career highs in points (34), and assists (30) last season.
