The Great One has a terrific interview with Steven Colbert.

Despite his celebrity status, especially within the sport of hockey, Wayne Gretzky doesn't often give lengthy interviews but on Tuesday night he sat down with The Late Show's Stephen Colbert and gave a terrific one.

Gretzky touched on a ton of subjects including the state of the game, the quality of player in the modern National Hockey League, the late and great NHL legend Gordie Howe and much more more.

The most notable thing from this interview was the level of honesty from Gretzky, he felt incredibly genuine throughout, and even appeared to hold back emotions at times when touching on the subject of Mr. Hockey.
