The internet exploded after golf replaced hockey on NBC.

Hockey fans are pretty simple people in general. Give them a good TV, a beer or two and a bowl of chips and it will do the trick. They are full of emotions, they love their teams and accept very little BS in general. 

Well, yesterday was game 1 of the Conference finals between the Penguins and the Senators. Of course, fans of both teams anticipated the clash with great envy, looking for a good fight and a chance to root for their team. On top of them, the whole league is watching the drama unfold, has both teams have very peculiar and interesting stories to tell. 

However, last night the internet went up in flames when the NBC chose to keep the golf on the screen past 7h, which was the due time for the game to begin. Hockey fans tuning up for their favorite sport on TV. Instead, they got this image. 

Then, Twitter went on fire. 

We could fill pages upon pages of reactions! This weekend is the Players' championship on the PGA and it's considered the 5th major tournament. However, when fans want hockey, they want it NOW!
