The Most Brutal Face Scans From NHL 27.

Each and every year the National Hockey League alongside their partners at Electronic Arts publish a brand new video game in their highly successful series of games, but this year's game has produced a response from fans unlike any other before it.

That's because some of the realistic face scans have made their way out for public consumption, resulting in both laughter and horror from fans depending on how you look at it. While many of the face scans appear to be perfectly normal, a few have produced some truly unusual results which fans have been quick to point out.

You wouldn't be blamed for thinking that someone, somewhere, at EA doesn't love the Boston Bruins because a number of their face scans have topped the list of unfortunate results. Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy for example had one of the worst results of all:

McAvoy wasn't alone however, Bruins forward Mason Lohrei also came out looking like something you would expect to see in a horror move.

The Bruins weren't the only ones to get this type of treatment however. Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid came out looking like someone forget his head in the dryer.

Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper didn't exactly get a good result either:

Minnesota Wild fans were lamenting what was done to their beautiful Kirill Kaprizov after NHL 27's face scan was done with him:
