
NHL commissioner Gary Bettman officially makes his ruling.
This just in, the NHL has completed its investigation of former head coach Mike Babcock and has officially ruled that he is eligible to return to the league.
From NHL commissioner Gary Bettman:
“The League has completed its review of Mike Babcock’s tenure in Columbus, and of certain alleged conduct associated therewith. Our investigation has concluded that, even in a light least favorable to Mr. Babcock, there is no current basis to restrict his employment in the League.”
The ball is officially in your court, Stan Bowman.
With the investigation now having concluded it's expected that the Edmonton Oilers will officially hire Babcock as their next head coach. Things just got a lot more interesting in Edmonton...
