The NHL season hasn't even started and we've already got a controversial goalie interference call.

Tonight in pre-season action between the Philadelphia Flyers and Montreal Canadiens and this Flyers goal was called off for goalie interference.

Where's the interference?

I'm guessing the officials are still in pre-season form, just as the players are?

In all seriousness, the variability in goalie interference calls is of the charts. It's a problem that the NHL really needs to address or we risk seeing a legitimate Stanley Cup winning goal called back for a nonsense call like tonight's.
