The Rangers at a huge disadvantage because of the NHL.

That's not the best case scenario at all.

The Rangers have locked their spot in the playoffs already, but the remaining part of the season is still left to be played. Granted, these games are less stressful than what's coming in the Spring, but they still need to perform and remain in game shape.

Games distribution is a big part of a team expected success. Long trip on the other side of the continent or constant back-to-back games are tough for everyone. The Rangers drew the short straw on this regard.

Yep, you read that right, four back-to-back games in a row. Granted, the guys are athletes and they will manage all right. However, one could argue such a loaded schedule at the end of a season could have had huge consequences in another context. Imagine the team fighting for its life and having to deal with this.

Oh well, what can you do!
