After a heartbreaking Game 7 overtime loss to the Dallas Stars, the Colorado Avalanche's promising season is over. The high flying, dynamically offensive Avalanche played some fantastically entertaining hockey this post-season but in the end they simply couldn't get past the heavy, grinding play of the Stars.
