This just in, according to Mark Spector: Tristan Jarry is flying home today to be evaluated by doctors after leaving Thursday night’s game against the Boston Bruins with a lower-body injury. Spector posted:

"Jarry is flying home today to be evaluated by doctors. Lower body injury.
Expect Connor Ingram to be called up - Oilers will have to shuffle the deck a bit to fit him in however."

Jarry appeared to tweak something in his lower body while sliding across the crease and was replaced in net by backup Calvin Pickard. The Oilers now face some roster shuffling to accommodate the changes.

He's since been placed on the team's injured reserve.

Spector believes netminder Connor Ingram to be called up as the next man in, though fitting him into the lineup may require some adjustments elsewhere.

Acquired by Edmonton at the beginning of October, Ingram’s NHL journey has been far from smooth. He missed part of the 2024–25 campaign due to personal matters and experienced the tragic loss of his mother to breast cancer, but has been cleared to return to full on-ice activity. His recent struggles in Arizona, including a 3.27 goals-against average and .882 save percentage over just 22 games, mark a low point in what has otherwise been a promising career.

Jarry’s health will be closely monitored over the coming days, with the Oilers eager to determine the severity of the injury and how it may impact their plans in goal.

In the meantime, Ingram will get a chance to prove himself and help stabilize a team already navigating recent changes between the pipes.

The Oilers have consequently made the following moves:

Placed on IR:
Tristan Jarry (G)

Placed on LTIR:
Jack Rislovic (F)

Recalled from Bakersfield:
Connor Ingram (G)
