The Philadelphia Flyers have been EXTREMELY unlucky when it comes to injuries this season. That trend continued yesterday when it was announced the Flyers had lost Michael Raffl for six weeks following a lower body injury.Dave Issac was the first to
Raffl out six weeks. He’s the fifth Flyer to get hurt blocking a shot this season.

Raffl was off to an incredible start this year with 7 points in his first 12 games, 6 goals and an assist, he had a +2 plus minus rating as well. Raffl joins a long list of key players that have missed time this season, a list that includes Lecavalier, Coburn, MacDonald and of course Timonen.
Hopefully Raffl is the last of this terrible trend, but we won't get our hopes up.
The Flyers take on the Florida Panthers in Philly tonight.
