This quiet Leafs player dominates the NHL.

When you discuss the Maple Leafs season, people will always cite Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner and James Van Riemsdyk. It's pretty obvious why, with these three running the show, days in and days out. They literally light the fire on the ice, whether it's possible or not. 

Well, a quieter piece of the lineup is absolutely shining with the team these days. Nikita Soshnikov is a penalty killing specialist and he now leans the NHL. 

How amazing is that? You spend more than an hour facing the other team's best players, one man short. You only allow one goal. Damn! Needless to say, a few bruises appeared during this sequence. 

Well done Nikita, keep it up! It will be needed in the playoffs.
