Three 1st overall picks score within 87-second span in Oilers-Devils’ game

The Edmonton Oilers are visiting the Devils in New Jersey this afternoon before the New Year’s celebrations and star players are offering quite the show to the fanbase.
During the first period, the Oilers and Devils fire many shots and saw quite a few went in, as the score was 3-2 for the home favourites after 20 minutes.
During that exciting period, three first overall picks scored in an 87-second span, which amazed commentators.
Jack Hughes kicked things off with the first goal of the game, but moments later Oilers captain Connor McDavid tied things up.
The Devils fought right back and it was Nico Hischier’s turn to give the Devils the lead.

After that, Kailer Yamamoto went to the Devils’ net to level the score for the Oilers, however, Dawson Mercer gave New Jersey the lead back.
