On Thursday, with a day to go until today’s deadline, eight players have found themselves on the waiver wire.

And now, with less than an hour to go to the trade deadline, three players will also be on the move.

The Vancouver Canucks have claimed Curtis Douglas off waivers from the Tampa Bay Lightning, while the Florida Panthers have landed Cole Reinhardt off waivers from the Vegas Golden Knights.

Also, the Philadelphia Flyers grabbed Luke Glendening off waivers from the New Jersey Devils.

In other waiver news, Mathieu Joseph had his contract terminated by the St. Louis Blues after being placed on unconditional waivers yesterday and has now signed a contract with the Los Angeles Kings.

Douglas kicked off the season with the Utah Mammoth , as he was in the final year of his two-year contract with a $775,000 cap hit, but the Bolts claimed him off of waivers as he was being reassigned to the AHL for the start of the regular season. In his first season in the NHL, he’s put up two assists in 29 games with Tampa.

Reinhardt joined the Golden Knights in the summer, signing with the team to a two-year deal with a $812,500 cap hit. He has recorded three goals and four assists for seven points in 44 games.

As for Glendening, he joined the Devils for training camp on a professional tryout contract and earned himself a spot on the roster, signing to a one-year, $775,000 contract. But it was a tough go with Jersey where he’s only managed to get four assists in 52 games.

These are not deadline moves, but it can count, right?
