This is one of the coolest hockey movies of all time. Mystery, Alaska is essentially about a hockey team in small town in Alaska who get to host the New York Rangers in an exhibition game.
Although the movie did not feature real NHL players, This clip shows Academy Award Winning Actor Russell Crowe absolutely laying out a "Rangers" player. This is followed by an incredible sprawling save. The movie was released in 1999 and has a decent following in the hockey community.
SPOILER
Regardless, The Rangers end up winning game in regulation but what a great movie!
