Tie Domi publishes beautiful response to his son's major announcement.

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi made a life-changing announcement on Sunday when he revealed to the world that he would be marrying his long time girlfriend, with the couple both sharing their news across their social media platforms.

It was a lovely announcement on the part of the soon to be newlyweds but that announcement may have been topped by the message that followed from legendary National Hockey League enforcer Tie Domi. Tie, Max's father, took to his own social media platforms to publish a heartfelt message to both his son and his soon to be daughter in law, showing a very different side of the gruff enforcer than the one hockey fans have grown accustomed to.

The message not only showed an introspective side of Tie Domi, but also showcased what a truly loving father he has been to his son over the years.

"Ten years of memories, laughter, challenges, growth, and choosing each other have brought you to this beautiful moment. Your relationship has stood the test of time watching you two grow up together, build a life together, and choose each other. I don’t think I’ve ever seen two people more ready for this.
It feels like just yesterday you were my little boy, and now I get to watch you build a life and future with the woman you love. I couldn’t be more proud of the man you’ve become and the love you two have shared and grown over all these years.
I’m so happy for you & Estelle. She’s family in every way that matters, and has been for a long time now. Watching this day come has been one of the great joys of being your dad.

I love you more than words can say and I’m so incredibly happy for you both - Love Dad"
