Tkachuk given a 10 minute misconduct for trying to fight goalie after a penalty shot!
Wow! Not sure I've ever seen this before!
HockeyFeed
Surprise, surprise... Ottawa Senators Brady Tkachuk made an ass of himself again.
Late in the 3rd period of a lopsided 4-1 loss Tkachuk was granted a penalty shot on Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov, which Kochetkov managed to stop easily with a diving poke check save.
Evidently Tkachuk didn't like the fact that Kochetkov went low on him because the Sens' captain had to be restrained by officials from getting at the 'Canes goaltender.
Check it out:
C'mon, Brady...
I love this guy's game as much as the next guy, but it's a bad look going after a goalie late in a 4-1 game. Especially when you consider that there's not even anyone else on the ice to come to Kochetkov's defense.
I'll say it again...
C'mon Brady...
