The Ottawa Senators are all about youth this season and fans are focused on 20-year-old forward Brady Tkachuk, who could soon make history.

The Senators are set to face the Buffalo Sabres later tonight and Tkachuk could soon be the first player to have 300 shots on goal and 300 Hits in a season.

He is at 218 SOG and 244 Hits right now.

We better keep a close eye on this.

On Sunday night, Tkachuk finished the night with a goal and two assists, and in just his second year has already taken on a leading role with the Senators.

While he may not be aware of his getting closer to history, he keeps adding up the shots and delivering big hits on the ice.

It will be exciting to see him write his name in the history books.
